Juitt, my family dog

Last Saturday, i replenished my dog's food. In addition to her normal Salmon chunks, i also bought her a bottle of milky small round biscuit, her teething cleanser and a small quaking ball.

she like the 'soccer' small quaking ball because of the sound it produces when she bites it. She bit the ball so hard in her mouth, we have to pull it out! ooh....

she is playful and active, but she is scare ..of height....oooh..

ready for food ?? ....

Milky ball...RM 17.60 a tin. Good for a training treat..

Juitt's nail clipper and file..

we will make some new clothing for her as it rains often lately. She feels cold and will shelter in our double deck shoe rack...

will show you her new clothings soon....

Cheers...stay with me...

THANKS

ME and my paintings..

when i was little, i have no interest in drawing, but i enjoy admiring great paintings, especially scenic views. I have always thought i could not draw, so in my school days i took up HOME SCIENCE instead of ART. To me Home Science is more useful, as being a female, we have to know the basic of the HOME Kitchen. Home Science is the teaching of basic sewing, pastry making, cakes making, cleaning kitchen tips, cleaning stains tips. Whenever we have Home Science lesson, we will bake cookies...Mmmmm.. the aroma is so nice...the next door Science Lab students could smell...but cannot eat !..

When i reached higher level of education, there is no Home Science ! ooh...i was forced to take up ART drawing. We drew pictures of "still live" with just a plain 2B pencil, and also learnt about water colouring arts. I have 2 classmates who drew very well. However, i could still get a Credit for my Art during my final public exam. I draw a still live picture of a flower vase. My drawing stopped there, though somehow it ran in my family. My eldest sister is quite a good artist. Ooh..her son now is a real GOOD Artist...

Later now after 15 years, i met my teacher Ms Hong Pok Giak at a local Chinese Primary School in Subang Jaya, near Kuala Lumpur. She is a chinese painting and Calligraphy Artist. I took the Chinese Painting with her. It has been 3 years now. i began to understand more on Art drawing the controlling of water, the playing of colors, the beauty of Art... my favourite painting is the Lotus flower. 1 stroke, 2 strokes ...it is completed ! oooh...so easy ?? no... 1 stroke...too much water, then it is gone !... there is always hardwork before you succeed... Success does not come easy...

this is my painting of the LOTUS flower.

anyone interested in my teacher or my painting, can also leave a comment on my blog. I will keep drawing whenever i can.. as practice makes perfect...

Chinese Dim Sum..

my family's Sunday breakfast is always a typical Chinese Dim Sum treat... Chinese Dim Sum comprises a variety of handmade steamed dumplings, paus.. congees.. many..many.. more..cannot name...

like most chinese do, we will order a pot of chinese tea to go with the Dim Sum.. I like "Pur Er" tea. This tea will not keep you awake !..no matter how much and when you drink it..you will sleep soundly ... believe me...get yourself a can.

We will take our time.. enjoy the Dim sum, take a sip of the chinese tea served from the tiny tea pot.. this is a chinese traditional not to be forgotten by our young generations today who frequents..the fast food chains..!

This is ..Xie Mai... a favourite of everyone...

this is wrapped in a Wantan skin..wantan skin is made from wheat flour, little bit of salt and water, make into a dough and then roll out into thin sheets. the fillings...eeemm..minced pork, prawns , fish , chopped shallots. ..

another of our favourites... this one is wrapped in a seaweed sheet.

Remember to carry on this chinese tradition...

See u soon...

...the other day i stopped at the insight the forbidden city... today i will go 'outsight' the forbidden city...

the winter was cold to me, eventhough there was sunshine. The Tienamen Square is just opposite the gateway to the forbidden city..or now known as The Palace museum.

The square has changed drastically over the years since i last stepped foot on it.

The panda Zoo...

this is a typical residence of old China ... i was told that as many as 8 families will live together in this big 'house'... they called it "Dai Za Yen"..

Beijing city at dawn 4:34pm. The chinese capital is emerging....so learning the Chinese language is essential today..

enough for china....i will post some of my chinese paintings in my blog.. i started chinese painting 3 years ago... still learning today..
