this is the best food we have tasted in Penang so far...

located in the city centre behind..cititel hotel...

A must try ...

tasty belacan fried chicken...to go with steaming hot white rice...

Yummy Assam prawns...not too sour taste, fresh prawns..eeemmm just good..

It was the afternoon rain on a Sunday on the Penang Bridge. Penang has changed drastically, so it is a must for us to visit occasionally. Taste the local food and pay a visit to the temple for blessing !!

more on chinese Dim Sum...

when you drop by at AXian, remember to try the "bao lo yau"... the bun is soft, and the filling is melting soft and the smell...emmhh,,perfectly.. good !..





another favourite..Lao Mai Kei... Steamed gultinous rice with chicken meat, mushroom, chinese sausage and seasoning to taste.



Chai Siew Pau... another popular choice...


a very local traditional creation... "Wu kok".. it is made from yam. Yam are steamed and mixed with flour to make a dough. There is fillings of minced meat and normally green peas seasoned to taste, after that it will be deep fried to cook..


a local creation...Salad prawn ..with mayonnaise sauce..



"Ha kao"..prawn dumplings..
